Putting a comma between adjectives

I found these sentences from a passage "Ann rides her bicycle. Ann rides her little bicycle to work. Ann rides her little, red bicycle to work every day"

I don't think those adjectives are coordinate so they should not be separated by a comma.

I wonder why we need to put a , (comma) between these adjectives (little and red)?

Thank you!
